By thoughtfully working with shape, light, color, material, and texture, we craft homes that calm, ground, and truly feel like home.

With years of experience and a trusted network of contractors, furniture makers, and suppliers, we guide every project from concept to completion, including architectural drawings and permits when needed.
Sustainability is core to how we work. We prioritize energy-efficient solutions such as solar panels and improved insulation, alongside circular, durable materials and the thoughtful reuse of existing elements..
About Fede
Federica was born and raised in Rome, in a family where beauty and art were woven into everyday life from the start.
After earning her degree in Architecture from TU Delft in 2012, she spent several years working with renowned Amsterdam architecture firms, including space&matter and Concrete. Her focus was sustainable urban development, contributing to landmark projects such as De Ceuvel and Schoonschip, as well as the redevelopment of a historic tobacco factory in Florence.
Over time, a deepening passion for yoga and holistic wellbeing led Federica to a transformative step: she left architecture temporarily to immerse herself in the study of yoga and its philosophies in Indonesia. This life-changing journey became the foundation for a new approach — one that brings together her love of beauty, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of wellbeing.
Today, Federica is the founder and creative force behind Fede Heimler Studio, an Amsterdam-based interior design practice on a mission to craft spaces that promote happiness, serenity, and a lasting sense of peace for everyone who inhabits them.
