This three-story, 180 sqm row house on Borneo Island in Amsterdam got a complete makeover, bringing together warm materials, soft colors, and a timeless yet laid-back feel.

On the ground floor, we turned what used to be a study and storage area into a bright and cozy master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. A wall of custom-made walnut wardrobes cleverly hides the closet entrance, keeping the space calm and uncluttered while adding plenty of warmth and character.

Up on the top floor, we focused on bringing in more natural light from above and creating a welcoming space around a custom-made kitchen. Rich walnut cabinetry, natural stone countertops, and carefully considered details give the kitchen an elegant feel without making it too formal.

Throughout the house, custom walnut furniture and soft, bright walls tie everything together. Little touches of color, from the deep red cabinetry to the playful blue bathroom fixtures, add personality, while the mix of natural materials keeps the whole home feeling warm, relaxed, and connected.
