Federica was born and raised in Rome in a family where beauty and art always played a central role.
After graduating in architecture at the TU Delft in 2012, she worked for many years in architecture offices in Amsterdam, first space&matter and then concrete, focusing on sustainable urban developments with innovative concepts such as de Ceuvel and Schoonschip, as well as a big redevelopment of an old tabac factory in Florence.
During these years, her strong passion for yoga and wellbeing grew to the point that she decided to quit architecture for a while to focus on the study of yoga practices and philosophies in Indonesia.
This was a life changing experience which brought her to start her own practice where her love for beauty, technical knowledge, concept development skills and yoga and wellbeing wisdom came together.
Today she leads fede heimler studio, an interior design studio with the mission to create beautiful spaces where people feel happy and at peace.
