Borneo House
This three-story, 180 sqm row house on Borneo Island in Amsterdam got a full makeover top to bottom with a bright, colorful, and laid-back style. For the design we mostly focused on the top floor, where all the living happens. To bring in more light, we added and expanded windows wherever we could, and built a little roof house that connects straight to the rooftop terrace. Now the whole space feels super open and full of sunlight from every angle.
Right in the middle of the top floor is a bold blue kitchen. it kind of steals the show, adding a fun pop of color while still feeling thoughtfully designed.
Wooden staircases run through the house tying everything together. And the little color accents sprinkled throughout keep the whole place feeling connected and full of personality.
